The high-density sedimentation tank technology was developed in the 1980s and has been applied in Europe for many years, as long as it is used in municipal wastewater treatment systems, lime softening treatment systems, and water supply treatment systems.

High density tank agitator- Advantages
1、 Stable and excellent effluent quality
2、 Save floor space
3、 Save operating costs and energy consumption
The high-density sedimentation tank adopts an efficient agitator, which increases the efficiency by more than 50% compared to the conventional mechanical accelerated clarification tank pump type agitator. Generally, the first reaction G value of the mechanical accelerated clarification tank is about 400s, and the mixing G value of the high-density sedimentation tank rapid mixing tank is only about 200s, greatly reducing the input energy consumption. The high-density sedimentation tank has a high sludge concentration with a moisture content of about 90-92%, which is much higher than that of the conventional mechanical accelerated sedimentation tank (over 98%), effectively reducing sludge discharge, reducing sludge volume by 4-6 times, and reducing the operating load of the sludge dewatering system. In addition, due to the high sludge concentration, a sludge concentration system can no longer be set up.
4、 Strong ability to withstand impact loads
By adjusting the sludge reflux rate and stirring intensity, high-density sedimentation tanks can effectively reduce the impact of fluctuations in incoming water quality and treatment water volume, ensuring minimal changes in effluent turbidity. Additionally, due to their excellent flocculation effect, the effluent water quality is good even at low water temperatures and low suspended solids in the influent
5、 Easy operation and management
The high-density sedimentation tank system adopts an advanced PLC control system, which runs automatically through a program control system with a high degree of automation. In order to ensure good treatment effect, the input power and dosage of the mixer can be automatically adjusted according to the quality and quantity of the incoming water. The system runs stably with minimal workload for operation and management. Moreover, the mixing, flocculation, and sedimentation separation units of the high-density sedimentation tank are independent and can be optimized and adjusted according to treatment requirements.
